This is the inaugural post of our Member Only Blog.  For those returning to Buffalo Hills Resort we are delighted to see you, and for our newest members, a hearty welcome.

We’ve had a busy winter planning for and making considerable improvements.  If you haven’t been here for a while, we think you will be pleasantly surprised to see all the expansion and work still in progress.  Management is very committed to having a lot of fun this season, and the official Summer Kick Off June 2 is just the start!

Our website is new and evolving all the time, and with a new member area, we bring you news and the ability to interact with each other in a closed-door environment with each other with our new private Forum system.

As Southeast Ohio becomes a huge site for exploration, oil and gas worker housing becomes a new priority.  Do you need a place to hang your hard hat after a long day working in the field?

Buffalo Hills Resort provides a unique setting for rental accommodation – in lieu of the limited supply and obligations for apartments.  We provide a safe and wonderful community to park your RV with 50-amp electrical service and water.

All campers have access to our numerous amenities that include:

• Clubhouse
• 24-hour bath houses
• Coin-operated laundry

And if you don’t have your own RV – we have Park Models and RV rentails available with several new cottages just added and more planned. See accommodations.

Want to have some fun?  Well, we’ve got the perfect setting and plans already in place for:

PS – If you are around on Friday night, we’re going to have a “Meet and Greet” bonfire from 8:00 – 9:00 pm near the Clubhouse!  See you there!

This is not going to be your average rugged Tipi.  Ours will feature not only hand-painted White Tail Deer that roam our land, but also paintings inspired by our wonderful Buffalo.  The Tipi sleeps ten and will be situated in convenient proximity to  clubhouse/pool bathroom facilities.  While it won’t have ‘indoor plumging’ – it will have electrical power so those who need to keep their phones and laptops charged will have no problems.

Don’t forget that not only is our vicinity rich in its Native American history, but also Buffalo Hills Resort will host the 1st Annual Native American Pow Wow in July!  This 4-day event will be open to the public – and what a great signpost our new Tipi will be!
